You’ve decided to take the plunge huh? Don’t say I didn’t warn you. I’ve taken the plunge in that swarming pool of the good, bad and the horrendous works out there.  I’ve had my share of endless tears, frustration at the secondary leads, and plain downright and screeching bad acting.  Now I’ve made a list for those newbies who want to avoid those. I’ll even include the classics that I particularly didn’t like but had a profound impact on the drama fan base and culture.

Korean Variety Shows

Super Junior : Full House – Interesting perspective from two foreign students who have the Super Junior boy band as their guide in South Korea. It’s a great watch when you’ve got funny personalities meshed with two students who don’t know what they’re in for.

We Got Married! – I’ll be honest. I started watching only for Alex (a vocalist for Clazziquai Project group). I’m glad I came across this one! The whole structure of the show is basically pairing up two celebrities together and let them try their hand at the married life. Simple right? But you know how marriages have their ups and downs and there were certainly moments caught on camera that made me feel all bubbly inside or had me laugh until my sides started to hurt.
