The concept of a soul mate is almost laughable these days. Yeah sure, there are some extreme romantics out there who do think it exists (believe me, I know of one personally). But what if you know that the ‘one’ is right there under your nose? How would you react? Well, this sitcom explores the complicated situations of love through four couples. If I said anymore, it’d ruin the surprise. Even though it’s a sitcom, it feels like a drama. A really refreshing and brilliant one that you’ll gobble up into bits.
Nouvelle Vague – This Is Not A Love Song
The Theme Song for this episode. And one of the songs I cannot get enough of.
Is it just me or doesn’t Phillip look a lot like Bae Yong Joon?
Now, recap’s ahead!

Gah, I’m mesmerized and hooked by the kdrama Soulmate. I’m seriously losing sleep. From amazing choice of music, nice paced storyline and stellar cast, it is too full of OMG. For the past two days I’ve got Nouvelle Vague’s This Is Not A Love Song and Lasse Lindh’s Comon’ Through stuck in my head. It even got me too distracted while on my biking routine and almost crashed into this poor old Lebanese woman. Why oh why isn’t there a season two?
It’s too much. I haven’t been this hooked since the first 12 airing episodes of Hong Gil Dong.
Thank god for limited internet (stealingwifi from neighbour) and summer vacation. I remember skipping breakfast and running straight to the internet streaming channel trying to get a tiny glimpse on the next episode before I head off to school.
Okay, I’ve gone mad.
At least on the plus side, the series is complete. No more anxious feelings or mixed emotions. :)
Now I’m gonna hunt down the Soulmate OST.
