I’ve got three words: I love this.
Bear with these nicknames. The names are revealed gradually and I’m typing this up as I watch.
Deok Ku – Younger guy.
Jang Chul Soo – Older Guy.
Anna Jo – Lady in Red/Lady of the Damned/Lady From Hell
Billy – Anna Jo’s Hubby
Head Butler – Mr. Gong
Two men are cruising along the highway. One man looks fairly nervous. Cue eerie music. Something’s clearly not right. He nervously asks his partner if he’s got the ‘weapons’ and they shouldn’t be doing this. It’s not right. The older man hints that he can’t betray him now. They’ve got to use this opportunity to expand their scope and do this abhorred task together. It’s now or never. The duo reach their destination of doom and both look at each other one last time.

Koizora & Fantasy Couple: Sneak Peek July 4, 2008

To be honest, I’ve read couple of Japan’s master storyteller Yoshi’s works before. And none of them were as bizarre as Mika’s Koizora. I’ve watched the movie too and I still don’t understand the fanfare behind it except that it has some stunning visuals but oh dear, it stretches the limits of realism. Seriously, is rape all that attractive in Japan? Ugh, that mole on Haruma Miruma’s chin bugged the hell out of me!! And how is this based on the true life story of the author?

Above link is a cracktastic review on the movie. Word of caution for some intense swearing but you get the gist of it.
Anyways, this movie somehow made 1.2 million people weep with fangirlish sorrow and now the producers are hitting the bandwagon to make a drama series out of it. Probably trying to milk some more profits on the franchise.
Let’s see how this goes when it’s released in August. I’ll most likely shred this show to pieces.
In other news, I’ll be recapping Fantasy Couple. Why might you ask? It’s just for fun. I know all you kdrama veterans raved this drama before but I haven’t experienced it. I’m praying that it’d better be good. :P
